Sasquia Burke is the Director of Operations. Sasquia Burke oversees and leads Federal and commercial projects and supports business development and strategy at SandHurst-AEC.
Sasquia Burke has over ten plus years of experience in business management and operations within the private industry and the federal government. Sasquia utilizes her expertise in planning and implementing corporate business development goals and growth initiatives. She has spent much of her career managing projects within federal agencies such as the Defense Health Agency, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Health and Human Services.
Sasquia’s experience and passion for serving the needs of the Department of Defense and federal organizations include her support in the creation of Initial Outfitting and Transition Business Process and Re-engineering for Facilities Enterprise within DHA. She served as an I.T. Business Analyst to administer and distribute technology, hardware, and software to be placed on HSDN (Homeland Secure Data Network), C-LAN (Classified Local Network), and A-LAN (Area Local Network) by maintaining the security and the infrastructure of the network. Sasquia also supported the Branch Chief officer of DHHS to develop an administration analysis and report findings. Sasquia has managed and supported multimillion-dollar commercial and residential projects within the D.C., MD, and V.A. areas. She is currently a member of Women in construction, V.A. Chapter, and supports the non for profit Young Wise Builders of the D.C. area.
Sasquia is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Sasquia is a Panamanian Native and daughter of a military family, which allowed her to travel overseas to Europe and Central America. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, knitting, and traveling.
