Project Description

Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA)

Objective:

Relocation of the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) Headquarters and Field Office Consolidation and Relocation, Washington, DC.
2018-2021 – Sub-consultant

Project Description:

We provided construction and move management, estimating, construction scheduling support to CSOSA for their agency-wide relocation program under the IDIQ contract. CSOSA had to relocate its Headquarters and 58,000 SF of field office space due to expiring leases of the field offices. The project took several phases under a compressed schedule.

SandHurst-AEC acted as a sub-consultant to the Prime contractor. SandHurst-AEC provided construction management services during the construction phase, on-site support by working with CSOSA‘s representatives at the new headquarters’ space to support the daily needs of the Office of Facilities. The tasks included a review of furniture shop drawings and bills of materials, attending meetings with vendors and contractors, scheduling move coordination, and responding to the demand for space management and modifications. SandHurst-AEC assisted with drawing reviews, construction Inspections, move, estimating, budgeting of move costs and office spaces, and reviewing furniture installation. We also conducted similar moves of CSOSA departments from headquarters to multiple locations in Washington, DC.
