Steven Gerard is the Director of IT & Construction Management at SandHurst-AEC.

While at the Department of Justice and the Department of Defense, Steve made a career in the I.T. field, including Contract and Project Management and Data Center Management. He also worked in operations and network security for large networks.

Before working in the I.T. field, he was in Military Intelligence and City Planning. While in City Planning, Steve wrote numerous reviews of development proposals, historic building applications, and zoning reviews. During this creative journey, Steve undertook and completed significant renovations of residential projects in the D.C. Metropolitan area.

Steve’s experience includes certifications with ITIL 4 Foundation and MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer). His experience included the conceptualization, procurement, and project management for delivering a Dark Fiber Network for four offices on a 20-year contract.

Steve has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware. He enjoys sailing, cycling, and family time in his spare time.
