Laboratory Spaces
Provided Project Management Services for the Construction of new Laboratory spaces.
2,600 square feet of laboratory and office space, and the utilities and infrastructure to support them.
The work included but not limited to Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Data/Communications. The new laboratory was designed and constructed in an existing building and consisted of multiple teaching stations, prep laboratory space, lab storage and open office area. SandHurst-AEC coordinated the design and construction activities between the HHMI building teams and the UMBC campus team on issues of building utilities, campus facilities permitting process, drawing reviews, IT integration, and scheduling of laboratory equipment and furniture purchase and installation.
